Viral Vals are another viral infection. They are caused by the variola virus which is found in many different places, and usually spread by a small number of individuals. Viral varicose veins, which are visible within the skin, have not been reported to be fatal for healthy people. The main symptoms are: itching, blistering, redness, and swelling. They can cause scarring of the skin, which may be permanent and may be easily concealed by clothing or scar tissue. However, this does not appear to be the case for the majority of people. Some people have had an increased risk for death or permanent scarring because of varicose vains, but this risk is very small. The variola virus has only been recorded in five people in the US. People who get varicose vains don't have a higher risk for certain cancers or autoimmune diseases (such as Crohn's disease or multiple sclerosis).
People who are allergic to varicose vains may want to avoid them. The majority of people with varicose vains are not allergic and may continue to use their treatments as recommended.
